Warunki licencji Voxmill

1. Who is who. Voxmill is made by Szymon Jędryczko, trading as Tenzan Logic, Kraków, Poland (contact@tenzanlogic.com), called Tenzan Logic below. When you buy a licence key, Polar Software, Inc. is the merchant of record, which means it is the legal seller. Polar runs the checkout, collects the payment, adds and remits VAT, and issues the invoice with its own address and complaint route. Polar also gives you at the checkout the pre-contract information the law requires of a seller. Tenzan Logic grants the licence. Complaints about Voxmill itself go to contact@tenzanlogic.com, and Tenzan Logic answers within 14 days.
2. What you get. Voxmill is licensed, not sold. The free version transcribes one file at a time with the Voxmill Lite model. A Pro licence key adds the Voxmill Pro model, several files at once, auto-transcribed folders and speaker labels, on up to three computers you own or control; the licence key allows three activations. A Team licence key does the same for up to five people in one organisation, on up to ten computers between them; the licence key allows ten activations. Licence keys do not expire. Every update of the same major version is free. Tenzan Logic keeps that version in conformity with these terms and with the description at the time of purchase for as long as a consumer can reasonably expect; the law requires this (Directive 2019/770 as implemented in the Polish Consumer Rights Act, articles 43h to 43q). Tenzan Logic offers the next major version to licence key owners at half price.
3. What you may not do. Do not share, sell or publish a licence key. Do not distribute a modified Voxmill, or a Voxmill with its licence check removed. Do not present a modified Voxmill as the original.
4. What you may do. You may study, decompile and modify Voxmill for your own use, as Polish copyright law allows (article 75 of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights). That includes replacing the bundled ffmpeg program. Nothing here restricts the rights the LGPL gives you for FFmpeg, or the rights any open-source licence gives you for the software listed in THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt inside Voxmill.
5. Your files. They stay on your computer. Tenzan Logic never sees them. See the privacy notice.
6. Your statutory rights: withdrawal and refund. As a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason (Consumer Rights Act, article 27). Digital content delivered at once is an exception, but only when you have expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right to withdraw, and that agreement is confirmed to you on a durable medium. The Polar checkout asks for exactly that consent. Whether or not you gave it, Tenzan Logic honours a full refund for any reason within 14 days of purchase, through Polar. A refunded licence key stops working at its next check, which happens within 30 days.
7. Warranty and liability. Speech recognition makes mistakes. Check transcripts before relying on them. Beyond the conformity the law guarantees, Voxmill comes with no further warranty, as far as the law allows. Nothing limits Tenzan Logic’s liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or the statutory rights of a consumer. For everything else, liability for a defect is limited to the price paid.
8. Third-party software. Voxmill contains open-source software under the licences reproduced in THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt. Those licences apply to that software.
9. Law and disputes. Polish law applies. A consumer keeps the protections of the law of the country where they live. Disputes go to the competent court of the consumer’s domicile, or to the ODR platform of the European Commission. Tenzan Logic will try to settle any complaint by e-mail first.
