A Teams meeting transcript on your computer

Voxmill records a call in Teams, Meet or Zoom and turns it into a transcript on your computer.

First: is Teams enough?

If you organise the meeting and your firm's Teams allows it, the Teams transcript costs nothing. Use it.

In Polish: Teams writes transcripts in Polish too.
Who decides: The organiser and the Teams settings of their firm. In a meeting a client calls, the client's Teams decides.
Who knows: When the transcript starts, everyone sees a notice.
Where the transcript goes: In OneDrive and SharePoint: the firm's Microsoft 365 cloud.

Meet, Zoom, a browser: Voxmill records your microphone and the computer's own sound, so the other side of the call is in the recording too. No bot joins the meeting.
Recordings you have: Drop in a file of a meeting, an interview or a client call the same way as a recording made with the button.
Transcript on your computer: The recording and the transcript stay on your computer. The exception: a notes folder inside a synced folder (OneDrive, iCloud) goes wherever that folder syncs. Voxmill itself sends them neither to your firm's cloud nor to us.

Say that you are recording
Tell the others at the start of the call. Some countries ask every person to agree first. Beside the button, Voxmill reminds you: "Tell the others you are recording."
Click "Record a meeting"
Or press Cmd+R. The first time, macOS asks for the microphone. The computer's own sound needs a grant in System Settings, under Privacy & Security, Screen & System Audio Recording.
Mark what matters
With the "Mark this moment" button or Cmd+Shift+M. Add a note to the mark if you like; the transcript shows it as a flag.
Stop and read
After "Stop recording" the file goes onto the list and becomes a transcript. Click a time to hear that moment. Search with "Find in the transcript", save for Word.

For you: With your name in Settings, the transcript opens on the lines that ask you something or talk about you, and on your marks. It works for transcripts in Polish and English.
