All the details and steps
Nowhere beyond your computer
Neither the recording, the text nor the file name leaves your computer. The exception: a notes folder inside a synced folder (OneDrive, iCloud) goes wherever that folder syncs. Voxmill itself sends them neither to a cloud nor to us.
When it goes online
For the speech files, a Pro key check and a newer version. An error report goes out only with your consent. Every connection and three tests: Verify offline.
No bot
Voxmill records your microphone and the computer's own sound, so the other side of the call is in the recording. No extra participant joins the meeting.
Tell the client
Say at the start that you are recording. Some countries ask every person to agree first. Beside the button, Voxmill reminds you: "Tell the others you are recording."
Saving and search
Save the transcript as Word, subtitles or plain text, and search it for a word.

Click "Record a meeting"
Or press Cmd+R. The first time, macOS asks for the microphone. The computer's own sound needs a grant in System Settings, under Privacy & Security, Screen & System Audio Recording.
Stop and read
After "Stop recording" the file goes onto the list and becomes a transcript. Save it for Word.
